Tafsir of Surah Yaseen for Children The Heart of the Qur’an — Brought to Life for Young Minds
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“I wish that Surah Yaseen would be in the heart of every person from my Ummah.” — Narrated by Ibn Abbas ؓ (reported by al-Bazzar)
Yet most children who memorise Surah Yaseen have never truly understood what they are reciting. They move their lips over words of immense beauty and power — words about the purpose of life, the signs of Allah in the universe, the courage of one man who stood alone for truth, and the certainty of the Day of Judgment — without ever knowing what those words mean.
This course changes that.
Tafsir of Surah Yaseen for Children is a structured, live, 8-session online tafsir programme running every Sunday at 4:00 PM Mecca Time, beginning this Sunday.
Each 40-minute session is crafted for children aged 9–13 — taught with the depth of authentic classical scholarship and the energy, creativity, and care that makes children genuinely love what they are learning.
This is not a recitation class. This is your child sitting with a knowledgeable teacher every Sunday, exploring one of the most profound chapters of the Qur’an — and actually understanding it.

① Authentic Tafsir, Child-Friendly Delivery Every lesson draws directly from the great classical scholars — Mufti Muhammad Shafi’s Ma’arif ul Qur’an, Imam Ibn Kathir, Imam al-Ghazzali, and Maulana Idrees Kandhalwi — translated into language and examples that a 10-year-old can feel in their heart.
② The Three-Pillar Framework Children Will Never Forget Children learn the three great themes of Surah Yaseen — Tawheed, Risalah, and Akhirah — through a framework they can carry with them for life. Not just as terms, but as living realities they begin to see in the world around them.
③ The Story of Habib al-Najjar — A Hero for Our Times Your child will meet one of the bravest characters in the Qur’an: a man who ran across a hostile city — alone — to stand up for truth. This story will leave a mark on how your child thinks about courage, integrity, and what it means to be a believer.
④ Signs of Allah in the Universe From the rising of the sun to the growth of a seed — children will learn to look at the natural world and say SubhanAllah with genuine awe, because they will know what Allah Himself says about these signs in Surah Yaseen.
⑤ Interactive Learning Every Session Every lesson includes discussion, reflection questions, activities, and a quiz component to reinforce understanding. Children are engaged — not passive. They participate. They think. They respond.
⑥ The Ripple Effect of Good Deeds (Athar) Verse 12 of Surah Yaseen contains one of the most motivating ideas in the entire Qur’an: Allah records not only your deeds, but their effects long after you are gone. Children will leave this course understanding that every good thing they do — a smile, a kind word, sharing knowledge — echoes forward in time.
⑦ Kun Fayakun — The Most Powerful Words in the Universe The course climaxes with the magnificent closing of Surah Yaseen: “Be! And it is.” Children will understand, feel, and genuinely believe in the unlimited power of Allah — in a way that gives them hope, awe, and trust for the rest of their lives.
