Islam Hashtag: A Platform for Islamic Learning
In 2015, I started Islam Hashtag to share my love for Islamic knowledge. Through the blog, I aimed to inspire Muslims around the world by sharing authentic hadiths, lessons from the Quran, and personal reflections. Over time, the platform grew, and it now includes various resources like articles, courses, and community support. My primary focus has been to offer content that brings us closer to Allah.I completed my Alimiyyah Darse Nizami 6 year studies of Quran,Fiqh,Arabic,Hadith and I began to teach at prestigious institutes as khidmat alhumdulillah.
To further serve the community, I expanded Islam Hashtag by launching a sister website, theislamicblog.com, where I offer online courses. These courses cover essential Islamic subjects such as Quran Tafsir, Fiqh, and Riyadh as-Saliheen, tailored for both children and women. I believe that learning should be accessible and engaging, which is why my approach includes interactive sessions, structured outlines, and activities that encourage students to actively participate. My goal is not just to teach but to foster a deep connection with our faith.
Blending Optometry with Content Creation
Parallel to my work with Islam Hashtag, I am also an optometrist. My experience in optometry has been instrumental in shaping my career, leading me to establish Opthametry.com and the Facebook page @Optometryskills. This platform is designed to provide optometrists with insights into topics like optical considerations, refractive surgery, and Applanation Tonometry, which are critical in the field.
Islamic Education for the Next Generation
One of the projects closest to my heart is the online Islamic school for children and women. Understanding the importance of grounding young minds in the teachings of Islam, I have started a Tafsir course for children aged 8-13, focusing on making the Quran come alive in a way that resonates with them. I emphasize learning the meaning of the Quran, encouraging students to interact in class and ask questions. Activities, after-class tasks, and recorded sessions ensure that learning extends beyond the classroom.
For women, I offer a course on Riyadh as-Saliheen, delving into the teachings of Rasul Allah (Sallalahu alaihe wa sallam) with an emphasis on practical application in daily life. These courses, structured with headings, subheadings, and clear outlines, ensure a smooth and engaging learning experience.
Social Media and Engagement
Managing social media for Islam Hashtag has been a learning journey of its own. While I primarily focus on Facebook and Instagram through my accounts @islamhashtag and @authentichadeeth, I aim to increase engagement and reach.Follow us in social media to keep connected eith us and help us grow.
By blending optometry with Islamic education and digital content creation, I aim to leave a lasting impact on both fields. Whether it’s helping fellow optometrists stay informed or guiding students through the teachings of Islam, I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve in ways that align with my passion for knowledge and faith.
