As parents, it brings immense joy to hear our children recite the Quran. Those familiar surahs of Juz 30 become part of their daily prayers, their voices filling our homes with barakah. Along with this joy, many parents quietly wish for something more—that their child not only recites well, but also understands what they are reciting.
This Quran Tafsir for Kids course is designed with that intention.
The course gently helps children understand the meanings and messages of Juz 30, in a way that is suitable for their age and emotional development. Memorisation is honoured and supported, while meaning is introduced carefully so that the Quran feels close, comforting, and relevant to a child’s life.
These are recorded classes from a previous live batch, where children asked thoughtful, natural questions during the tafsir sessions. Their questions form an important part of the learning experience, allowing your child to learn in a way that feels interactive, relatable, and reflective—just like sitting in a real classroom.
Because the course is self-paced, parents can allow their child to learn without pressure. It fits well into school holidays or weekends, giving children the time and space to absorb, reflect, and grow at a comfortable pace.
The course is taught by  Alimah Fahmina Jawed who has completed six years of Dars-e-Nizami from two reputable Islamic institutes. With experience teaching children and families, the approach remains clear, balanced, and rooted in traditional scholarship, while always keeping a child’s understanding at the centre.
