Step 3- Get your blog Hosted

To get your blog started, you’ll need two key components: blog hosting (also known as web hosting) and blogging software. Fortunately, these are often bundled together for convenience.

A blog host is a service provider that stores all the files for your blog and delivers them to visitors when they type in your blog address. Without hosting, your blog cannot be accessible online.

You’ll also need blogging software to create and manage your content. In this guide, I will walk you through how to set up a blog using WordPress, the most popular platform. It’s known for its flexibility, ease of use, and wide range of customization options.

I will help you get a hosting and set up the WordPress Website for you in a day.

There are many hosting providers and I have seen most hosting providers have hidden charge or they increase their cost second year onwards. After lots of research, I have found a good host who gives a FREE Domain and hosting at $3.25/month and $35 a year. It has good disk space, I am running all my websites with them. I can set up your wesbsite with them ( this is the hosting Provider which I use) or I can help you host your website with bluehost or godaddy which are the famous ones.

I recommend that you get a new email address for your blogging platform. You can purchase the hosting and give me the login and password of the hosting account. I will handle it from there and set up for you your pages, menu, categories, contact form, submit your site to google and other search engines and set up google analytics for you which are crucial steps if you want to get a good running blog.
